Event Description

Teghbir Singh, a six-year-old from Punjab, has set a new world record by becoming the youngest mountaineer to scale Mount Elbrus. It is the highest mountain in Russia and Europe, which is 18,510 feet (5,642 metres) high. This is the tenth-most prominent peak in the world as well.

Summary

In August 2024, Teghbir became the youngest Asian to scale Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest peak of the African continent. For this, his name features in the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records. He had also reached the Mt Everest Base Camp in Nepal in April 2024.
