Sonit Santosh Sisolekar is an Indian child prodigy from Pune, recognized as the country’s youngest volcanologist and planetary geologist. Born on January 26, 2007, he gained national prominence for his advanced research in geology and space science at a very young age.
Summary
He Won the NASA-Cubes in Space (CiS) competition for his research on how ionizing radiation might contribute to the reddening of Martian soil. He was also selected for the NASA-led Great Lunar Expedition for Everyone (GLEE) 2023, leading a team to study the lunar surface using small satellites called "LunaSats".
