Tejaswin Shankar is a premier Indian track and field athlete who holds the national records in both the men’s high jump (2.29m) and the decathlon (8,057 points). He transitioned from a pure high jump specialist—winning a historic high jump bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games—into an elite multi-event decathlete.

Tejaswin Shankar attended Kansas State University (KSU) on a full athletic scholarship, competing for the K-State Wildcats. On the track, he became a two-time NCAA Division I National Champion by winning the men's high jump titles in both 2018 and 2022.
