Jimmy George (1955–1987) is widely celebrated as the "God of Indian Volleyball" and one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. Known for his extraordinary vertical leap and lethal attacking style, he became a national icon at a young age, winning India's prestigious Arjuna Award at just 21.
