Kaziah Liz Mejo is a 19-year-old Indian model, beauty pageant titleholder, and law student who made history by being crowned Miss Universe India 2026. Hailing from Mavelikkara, Kerala, her victory marked a monumental milestone as she became the very first contestant from Kerala to claim the national crown in the pageant's 64-year history. Competing against 52 other finalists at the grand finale in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Kaziah impressed a celebrity-filled jury panel that included former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen. Following her historic win, she is set to travel to Puerto Rico in November 2026 to represent India at the 75th milestone edition of the international Miss Universe pageant
