Atiqa Mir is an 11-year-old Indian kart racing prodigy who has emerged as one of the brightest young stars in global motorsport. Hailing from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, she is officially recognized as the world's highest-ranked female kart racer in her category and made history as the first Indian driver backed by the Formula 1 Academy. Mentored by her father, former Formula Asia driver Asif Nazir Mir, Atiqa began racing at age seven and has rapidly scaled the ranks of international karting, routinely outqualifying older, manufacturer-backed European drivers.
