Is one of the recently established Government Engineering Institutions in Bihar. It was founded in 2019 by the Government of Bihar and falls under the jurisdiction of the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education. GEC Aurangabad when established was initially affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University and has received approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Currently, GEC Aurangabad is affiliated with Bihar Engineering University Patna.
