The Institute functions under the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Nagaland and is affiliated to the State Council for Technical Education (SCTE). It currently offers Diploma in Civil engineering of three years duration. Aspiring candidates are selected through the state level Diploma Entrance Examination (DEE) conducted by the State Council for Technical Education (SCTE). Our Diploma program in Civil Engineering is approved by All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

To facilitate the learning process by providing equitable access to modem learning resources and infrastructure. iii. To ensure a supportive and inclusive environment for students from diverse communities. iv. To adopt a student centric pedagogy that focusses on innovation, experiential and lifelong learning skills v. To inculcate moral and ethical values and make them socially responsible, vi. To contribute to the local community by upskilling the youths.
