Thirteen-year-old Harsita Priyadarshini Mohanty from Koraput, Odisha, earned 2nd place in the 2025 International Young Eco-Hero Awards for her self-funded seed bank. She preserves indigenous paddy and millets, promoting climate resilience and food security through a unique seed-exchange method.
